Take me up

I don’t have much to say in this post.  Unusual, yes?

I don’t want to make the usual apologies for the length of time it took to get here.  I’ll still thank you for coming to look, but really, we are going to have to settle for creativity takes time in some people.

If you want another way to look at it, this blog  is going to take  52 Mercury weeks. (Go on, go look it up)

I have been doing research into my next project since you saw me last.

I have wanted to do an altered book for the longest time, but never found the right book, or been satisfied that I knew what I was doing (or that I could fake it well enough to appear like I knew what I was doing.  Or that it was meant to look like that.)

The stalling and studying had to stop , so I held onto my nose, sidled over to the edge and leapt inelegantly off.

I had a book, I had a knife (just one, because I broke the other one) and I had a template that I liked. (Yes, I did make that myself.)  I was ready going to cut!

This sort of thing went on for a couple of days (I took up exercise in this time. I have now irritated nerves in my body.  This is a professional assessment.)

I have to admit, I am happy with the end result.

All I have to do now is frame it.  It may take me a week to research that.

Thank you for coming to visit, it is nice to see you,

Princess Hibbie

/listening to Macy Gray’s song Kiss it.  Does it make you think of 70′s glitter bands? yeahhhhh
